All our expectations have been satisfied with this air purifier, worth every penny.
The Ionic Pro is a little different than I had for several years. I have a Sharper Image Ionic and it worked wonders. Because it is so old that I thouhg I could replace it. The Thermapure is different because it uses light to ionize the air through. The lights can damage the eyes if you are not careful to turn them when you clean it. The product is too small to purify the air of a small room. So we had a HEPA air purifier to buy.
This is a great air cleaner! The UVC lamp is huge compared to the Germ Guardian GG1000 I’m in my room. Both work well. I have the Ionic Pro, because I wanted an air purifier for the dining room and had no room for another wall GG1000. He is a student and we have closed our windows for the winter, and the meaning of cooking and other odors remain sealed and the air to be rather limited. No more! I have the fan on medium with the unit 24 / 7, and it is enough to fresh air and clean. Another plus point is that the bulb is replaceable.
